A Dark Nightmare

Not bad!

This was really fun! She got a bit stuck in the table, but that made it more fun to me.

Good game I really like the premise of being haunted by your memories. I thought it was a really creepy environment I thought the monster chasing me was really scary. I think this game was an amazing concept and this game and general premise has a lot of potential going forward.

The graphics and the models looked fantastic and the woman is very creepy.

I did however find the game a little bit too easy. The big open empty map with lights to show you where to go in a circle direction was quite easy to find all artefacts and escape without every actually worrying about geting caught.

I walked the map in a circle and the woman never got close to me and i finished the game in roughly 10 minutes. I had to then replay it and purposely walk into her to see what happens when I get caught.

I would suggest maybe making more obstacles or something to make it slightly harder to travel from artefacts. And perhaps make the woman's movements  more unpredictable of have her move locations to avoid just the easy straight line follow.

I think this game has a LOT of potential to be really terrifying, just at the moment there is no real threat when playing.

I look forward to trying again in further updates if there is any.

So- I think the visuals in this game were absolutely beautiful. Really great sense of what is creepy, what looks good, and how to use them together. I will say the actual gameplay and enjoyment I got from playing was low because of the pace. You could absolutely make an argument that the pace ends itself to the creepiness, but I found myself becoming annoyed with how fast the character was allowed to go! I go into more depth in a vid I posted. Thanks for the visuals! Great work.

Honestly you nailed the creep factor of the bride. Hearing that laughter in the dark and when she randomly started floating at me after I thought I broke her was awesome. Well done, looking forward to more from you.

One of the scariest games I've played. The ghost was truly horrifying, especially as you collected more artifacts. Enjoyed the lore in the game and the story as well. Great work dapperpigproductions! I can't wait to see what you end up doing next!

Like the person below me... I almost rage quit... glad I made it to the end! I didn't really look into the lore enough, the story seems so obvious and terrifying in hindsight!

Great game! Her laughter was very eerie! The more stuff you collected the deeper she laughed. kept me going, I was thankful that the hallway and house, she can't come in! AWESOME!

Really enjoyed this, there is a couple of issues as a stated in my video below, but all in all its terrifying, enjoyable, the atmosphere is spot on and the women is something out of a nightmare haha, if you wanna check out my gameplay it would be much appreciated and if you enjoy be sure to hit that sub button!

That laughing will haunt my nightmares! Seriously creepy, but for the most part not really difficult. If she was just a bit faster, it would add more panic to the sound of her laugh. But overall VERY nice game! (plus you had weeping willows) I love weeping willows! Well done!

Really good game. I think I might have figured out the story it was trying to tell, but not sure.

This was an interesting chase-and-run horror game experience. I managed to complete the game but I didn't manage to record the gameplay of my winning playthrough as I forgot to click record! :((((((( This horror game is unique as the ghost is actually not running at the player but walking towards the player throughout the entire game. The ghost may teleport in front or at other positions near the player at times so the player has to be alert and ready to run at any point of time. Being able to create a tense and horrifying atmosphere with just the ghost walking and following the player is definitely interesting and the usage of symbolism of each artifact and the artifact's location, made the game cool and interesting at the same time. 

One thing that I wasn't really sure about was when I got killed in my first playthrough of the game in my video. I was waiting for the ghost to approach from one of the doors of the house and got wrecked without even seeing her come. I was thinking if the ghost got me because she teleported to me or she got me because the range at which she was at was enough to kill me from outside of the house?
